Position Description

The cleaning and maintenance staff will help reset, clean, and maintain The Lansing Studio’s rentable spaces including The Lansing Studio and The Lansing Patio. Primary responsibilities include preparing the spaces for renters (mainly the patio) and cleaning/closing down the spaces after renters (studio and patio).

Our goal is to offer every renter a clean and exceptional experience. This position plays a key role in helping us achieve that.

This is a great opportunity for a high school or college student looking to earn money on the side.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setting up furniture (some light lifting)

  • Wiping down surfaces.

  • Resetting/moving furniture back to its original spot.

  • Seeing renters off (ensuring they exit on time).

  • Watering plants.

  • Sweeping

  • Mopping

  • Vacuuming

  • Picking up/emptying trash.

Skills Required

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage one's time very well.

  • Punctual.

Compensation

$20/clean.

Most cleans only take less than 1-hour. Weekends will require multiple cleaning sessions spread out throughout the day (1-4+).
